Now installing Veteran-owned In-window heat pumps across the North Country

Heat and AC without the construction.

A cold-climate heat pump that mounts in your window. No outdoor unit on a pad, no refrigerant lines drilled through your walls, no drain to plumb. It heats straight through a New Hampshire winter, cools all summer, and costs far less to run than oil, propane or baseboard heat. Most installs take an afternoon.

Who it's for

Warm and cool airflow from a heat pump mounted in a window

Anyone who wants to skip the construction

Renters and homeowners alike. No holes through the wall, no outdoor unit, no line sets running up the siding. It mounts in an existing window and comes out cleanly if you move or renovate.

Warm air from a window heat pump reaching a person on a couch

Anyone tired of high heating and cooling bills

Let the heat pump carry the spaces you use most and let the boiler or furnace rest. Efficient air conditioning in the summer comes with it.

Spaces your system doesn't reach

Additions, apartments over the garage, sunrooms, finished attics, workshops, or the bedroom that never gets warm. Add heating and cooling without extending ductwork or pipes.

How it works

  1. Check your window

Use our step-by-step fit check, or just call or text us. Tell us your window's measurements, or send a photo and we'll help. We confirm the fit before anything is ordered.

  2. Reserve your unit

A deposit orders your unit. It usually arrives within a few days.

  3. Installation

Our two-person crew mounts the unit, seals the window and tests everything. Most installs take about half a day, and your window still opens afterward.

  4. Setup

We connect the Wi-Fi app, walk you through the remote, and haul away all the packaging.

Four installation steps: set the outdoor section, slide in the indoor section, fold down the bracket, lower the window In-window heat pump installed in a home office

Deposit due when your unit is ordered, balance at installation. Because opened units can't be returned to the manufacturer, we always confirm the fit first.

Questions

Can I still open the window?

Yes. The brackets that hold the window snug against the unit fold back, so the window opens normally.

Does it really work in a North Country winter?

Yes. It keeps heating in outdoor temperatures as low as −22°F, with no electric-resistance backup coil doing the work.

Where does the water go?

The unit manages its own condensate. There's no drain line and no bucket to empty.

How loud is it?

It has a silent mode for bedrooms, and the saddle design keeps most of the machinery on the outdoor side of the window.

How many will I need?

Each unit delivers up to 9,500 BTU. Our savings calculator estimates how many units your space needs, and we confirm it during the fit check.

What if my windowsill is thin?

No problem. If your sill is thinner than the unit needs, we can build it out. Sill build-outs are quoted separately after the fit check.
